We're Hiring: Propulsion Systems engineer
Magdrive is hiring a propulsion systems engineer to help develop the next generation spacecraft thrusters. The Magdrive thruster will deliver unmatched thrust and efficiency, enabling entirely new industries in satellite servicing, orbital assembly and interplanetary transport.
You will play a pivotal role as one of the early employees of Magdrive, which brings enhanced freedom, responsibility and potential for career growth. You will work closely across the engineering and scientific teams to ensure systems integrate together and that they will function correctly in space. A background in spacecraft engineering is paramount.

Responsibilities
Ensure thruster subcomponents integrate together
Ensure products are designed to operate in a space environment
Leading test and space qualification campaigns
Working with external parties to integrate propulsion subsystems onto spacecraft.
Essential
Five years experience in the space industry
Degree in engineering or similar
Experience space qualifying and delivering flight hardware.
Desirable
Experience with CAD (electrical and mechanical)
Experience in system engineering for spacecraft and subsystems
Experience with spacecraft chemical and electric propulsion.
