What you will be doing
Supporting Flight Leads (CTO & Heads of Teams) in the delivery of flight hardware:

- Managing requirements databases and the risk register
- Taking ownership of flight hardware CAD
- Reviewing NCRs, OCRs, and change requests
- Sharing responsibility for testing, procurement, and delivery schedules
- Acting as a point of contact for customers and in-orbit demonstration partners
- Ensuring flight-critical steps are completed to a high standard:
- Planning and leading verification and validation testing
- Reviewing assembly plans and interface controls
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation, including ICDs, flight documentation, and partner requirements
Helping improve processes for flight delivery across Magdrive:

- Identifying and implementing improvements to processes and procedures
- Assisting with recruitment screening and highlighting resource gaps
What we are looking for
Essential
- Minimum 5 years engineering experience within the space industry
- Bachelors degree in engineering or related discipline
- Experience working on space systems hardware and product delivery
Desirable
- Experience with CAD (electrical and mechanical)
- Understanding of thermal and structural considerations for space systems
- Experience in systems engineering for spacecraft and subsystems
- Demonstrable experience with spacecraft chemical and electric propulsion
